Beetroot Crimson Globe is a popular variety of beetroot that is known for its deep, rich red colour and slightly sweet flavour. The beetroot is round in shape and can grow up to 7cm in diameter, making it a great choice for roasting, boiling, or pickling. Good variety for winter.
The outer skin of the beet is smooth and deep red, while the inside flesh is a vibrant pinkish-red colour. The leaves of the Crimson Globe beetroot are also edible and can be used in salads or sautéed as a side dish.
