Okra Clemson Spineless is a popular and known for its high yields and lack of spines on the pods. The plant is an annual that can grow up to 1.2 metres tall and produces green, tapered pods that can grow up to 20 cm in length.
The pods are tender and flavourful when harvested young, and are commonly used in Southern cuisine, particularly in dishes such as gumbo. Clemson Spineless okra is relatively easy to grow and is tolerant of hot, dry weather, making it a popular choice for home gardeners as well as commercial growers.
