Similar to Japanese extra early flowering types, Katz delivers a shorter crop time, uniformity in flowering for stem length and timing between colours, and better heat tolerance than European or traditional field types. The series can be grown earlier and later in the season, and even year-round in some climates. About 55 to 60% double-flowering, with some selectability possible. Tunnel production is recommended
